George Michael’s former lover Fadi Fawaz plans to contest the singer’s will after he and Kenny Goss were cut out of his £98million fortune, a source has claimed.
The bulk of his estate will go to his sisters Melanie and Yioda, with smaller chunks going to his father Kyriacos and his close friends and former staff.
Hairdresser Mr Fawaz – who is still living in the Wham! singer’s £5m home in London’s Regent Park – is said to believe his exclusion was ‘completely unfair’.
‘From the moment George died, Fadi has been insistent that he was a huge part of his life and deserved some of his estate,’ a source told Sun Online.
The source added that he is ‘looking into ways he can contest the will’.
George died at home in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire on Christmas Day 2016, aged 53.
His long-term partner Kenny Goss, and on-off Australian boyfriend Fadi Fawaz are not mentioned in the will.
Fawaz dated George from 2012 until his death, and was the one to discover his body.
