Carrie Symonds has made her first public appearance since announcing her pregnancy and engagement to PM Boris Johnson.
Miss Symonds was pictured wearing a large engagement ring at an event at 10 Downing Street to mark International Women’s Day.
The 31-year-old is set to welcome her baby to the world in the summer, but the precise date has yet to be announced.
Nor is it yet known when the couple will tie the knot, but it will be the first time in 250 years that a Prime Minister has got married while in office.
The mum-to-be, a former Tory Party press officer, announced on her private Instagram account that she was expecting, saying she felt “incredibly blessed”.
